These notes from Rod, KEQH:

We now have an active link between Garden City and Scott City via 2 meters. Dale, NKQX, with some help from Jim, ACE, have installed a link between GC 146.31/.91 and Scott City 146.10/.70. It is an active link with no control tones needed. Hoping to stir up some more activity by linking the two cities together.

SHARC is planning for it's fall picnic. It will be Saturday Sept. 16th at Scott City Patton park, across from Dairy Queen.

Several SHARC members will be attending the Kansas Division ARRL Convention/CKARC Hamfest in Salina August 20th. There will be a Saturday evening dinner at Martinellis "Little Italy" , Salina.

Attached is summary of SHARC history as I have remembered it. I will try to get any correction or additions later.
